\nWas on the beach, looking at skin,
\nWhen he heard from his wife,
\n\u201cIf you value your life,
\nYou\u2019ll keep that damned tongue of yours in!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Congratulations to Phyllis Sterling Smith a\/k\/a Granny Smith<\/a> who wins this week’s Facebook Friends’ Choice Award for this limerick which received the most Facebook “likes.”<\/p>\n

A gal who was partial to gin
\nEschewed food and soon grew very thin.
\nHer early demise
\nWas not a surprise.
\nShe sipped from a straw and fell in.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nDrank dry every bar she was in.
\nShe’d drink without tonic
\nAt speeds supersonic,
\nAnd boy did the bartenders grin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kathy El-Assal: <\/p>\n

A woman was partial to gin,
\nBridge, canasta: her drive was to win.
\nA game of strip poker–
\nNow that nearly broke her–
\nReduced her to panties and skin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Robert Schechter: <\/p>\n

A man who was partial to gin
\nSaid, “The thing is that when I begin
\nI find I can’t stop
\nTill the world is a top
\nAnd I’m dizzily watching it spin.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Craig Dykstra: <\/p>\n

A gal who was partial to gin,
\n\u2018Cause it gave her a license to sin,
\nFinally gave up on men,
\nAnd swore \u201cNever again!\u201d
\nSince the last one turned out to be kin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jane Shelton Hoffman: <\/p>\n

\nPlayed often, but she couldn’t win.
\nSo her boyfriend, a joker,
\nSuggested strip poker.
\nWith just a few hands he was in.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Nan Reiner a\/k\/a Kitty Ditty:<\/p>\n

A man who was partial to gin
\nPerformed a contortionist spin.
\nWhen asked how he stuck it,
\nSaid \u201cI\u2019m from Nantucket,\u201d
\nAnd flashed a lascivious grin.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
