Steve, I do that sort of thing with apostrophes when necessary.

Doug, since I specialize in political limericks (on my other blog) I was hoping someone would do a Biden limerick. Glad you did!

As for you, Elwin, that was quite the obstreperous mouthful.

An obstreperous fellow named Joe,
Hated limericks more than you know.
So, when folks versified him,
His own nature inside him,
Would just boil over and he’d defiantly, just for the pure hellish fun of it, ruin their rhyme by going off meter and injecting, as jerkingly and unmelodiously as possible, the worst possible preposition-ending limerick conclusion anyone had ever been subjected to.

His obnoxious obsession
Occasioned objection:
Orn’ry Joe was laid low by Flo’s beau.
