					<description>My wife and I argue over the correct terminology for adjusting the thermostat.  For me, turning the Air Conditioner up means lowering the temperature setting on the dial to make the house colder. For my wife, turning the AC up means raising the temperature setting on the dial, thus making the house warmer.</description>
