Interesting, a serious limerick.

Your fourth line might stand some tweaking. The CPA exam is a test of memorized knowledge that most agree has little relevance to whether or not the test taker can be an effective auditor. I've not ever heard anyone refer to the exam as worthwhile. It is, however, an effective barrier to entry. And, that is the exam's purpose. If enough people are prevented from becoming CPAs by the arbitrary triviality of the exam, then the wages of those that pass will be higher. I don't know that this makes it worthwhile. Perhaps another term would have been a better choice.

Nice try, though, not many are attempting limericks written about any aspect of accountant life.

Although you might try for anything you desire, I hope you will apply your considerable talent to writing an accounting limerick with humor. That is something accountants would appreciate--a tonic for their stress.

Your other accounting limerick is a tribute to someone who lost his/her job. Although the story has been told before, it is interesting that you put it in limerick form. You are suggesting that we should laugh, instead of cry, at life's little speed bumps?
